Clay + seal
Clay, iron and sealant, done on a mat in your driveway
A rinseless wash on our own reclamation mat, clay and iron remover for what washing leaves behind, then a sealant or a gloss-boost polish. Wash, Clay & Seal starts from $149.
Chapter 01
Why a rinseless wash on a mat beats the drive-thru
Every exterior package starts with a pre-soak and a rinseless wash, and the whole job happens on our black reclamation mat. The mat catches the rinse water, so the wash stays fully compliant with local water restrictions and nothing runs down your driveway. Urban Auto Detail says it is the only service in the area offering this, and it means you can get a proper wash at home when watering rules say otherwise.
A drive-thru drags spinning brushes across paint, and Urban Auto Detail's own line is a professional wash without the damage of automatic car washes. Ours is done by hand. Wheel faces and tires get their own brushes, the paint is washed separately, and the tires are dressed at the end so the finished car looks like one piece of work, not three.
Exterior work needs a water hookup and a power outlet at your place. You don't need to be home as long as we can get to the vehicle, and there is no travel fee around High River, Okotoks, Diamond Valley, Nanton and South Calgary. Prices are in Canadian dollars and scale by vehicle size: coupe or sedan, SUV or truck, full-size or three-row.

Clay, iron remover and the wheels after a salted winter
Washing lifts dirt that sits on the surface. It doesn't touch what has bonded to the paint, and that is the job of the clay bar. Wash, Clay & Seal (from $149, about two hours) covers the pre-soak, rinseless wash, wheel faces and tires, a clay treatment, ceramic wax and shine, and tire dressing. It suits a vehicle that is kept clean and wants the surface reset.
Exterior Deep Clean (from $269, about three hours) is the step up when the car has been through a prairie winter. It adds iron remover, decontaminated wheels, brushed wheel barrels and calipers, and a water spot remover for the marks that road salt and hard water leave behind. Diego has written about this on the blog: salt, moisture and chemical contaminants do the most harm once the snow is gone.
If you are not sure which of the two your vehicle needs, call or text (403) 973-2143 and describe the wheels and the lower doors. That is where salt and brake dust show first, and it helps decide whether a clay and seal is enough or the deep clean is worth the extra hour.
Chapter 03
Sealant, Polish & Protect, and the step beyond it
Polish & Protect (from $399, about four hours) is the gloss boost. It includes everything in the Deep Clean, then a single-stage paint enhancement and a ceramic paint sealant that carries six months of protection. It is the right call when the paint looks tired but doesn't carry deep scratches, and you want it bright and sealed before winter or after it.
2-Step Correct (from $699, about seven hours) goes further. It begins with the Polish & Protect work, then adds two stages of correction: a cutting compound first, then a polish. A ceramic coating can be added on top. Polishing and coating need a garage or other enclosed space plus water access, and both are booked with a deposit, so the paint correction and ceramic coating pages cover them in detail.
Which exterior package is right comes down to how the paint feels and what you want it to do for the next six months or longer. If you want the whole vehicle done in one visit, the full detailing page pairs each exterior package with a matching interior one.
